Sweater redo…

I didn’t like the project I was making with this yarn, so I made something else. 😁

I knit a new sweater right from the old one! Why waste time unraveling the yarn and making a new ball! 🧶

And I finished it in a weekend.

It was a super quick knit because of the bulky yarn and big needles I used.

And it’s nice and warm on these cold days we’ve been having. 🥶

I hope everyone has a great day and is staying super cozy! It’s still cold and snowy here!

A purple? sweater…

I don’t usually wear purple, but I’ve wanted to start incorporating more colour into my wardrobe.

I’m trying to show you the one side of the sweater I’ve finished, but it’s very difficult when I’m holding my phone in my other hand. 😅

I really hope it turns out the way I think it will, 🤞 but who knows. I’ve undone entire sweaters before after sewing them together and trying them on. 🙄

Anyway, I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Back to the drawing board…

UGH!!! 🙄 I finally finished this cocoon sweater only to find out, for some reason, my corners don’t match up!!! When I sewed it up, it was so off!!

It looks as if I knit on a bit of a diagonal?? 🤔 Maybe I made some mistakes with the pattern while knitting and didn’t notice? Maybe my tension was different each time I went to work on it?

I did notice one corner was a little off, but I thought I might have accidentally sat on it and it stretched. And when I pinned it together for a try on, I thought it was because it was still on the needles!

So, after all this work, I guess it’s back to the drawing board for this cocoon sweater.

Thank goodness there’s still a ton of time before Fall gets here!

Off to start over!
