The new pink yarn I bought the other day was calling my name, so despite having 2 other projects on the go, I had to start the baby blanket. 😉
I’m using a basket stitch pattern that creates a soft ripply texture. Perfect for a baby blanket.
BASKET STITCH PATTERN:
Cast on multiple of 6 stitches plus 3
ROW 1: Knit 3, purl 3, knit 3 across the row
ROW 2: Knit 3, purl 3, knit 3 across the row
ROW 3: Purl 3, knit 3, purl 3 across the row
ROW 4: Purl 3, knit 3, purl 3 across the rowRepeat the above 4 rows to create the pattern.
Well, off to do some more knitting. I don’t knit with pink very often, so I’m pretty excited!
