Yes, I’ve been working on the hats for our Downtown Mission, but I got a little sidetracked when I found out my husband’s co-worker was expecting her first grand baby. LOL!
Of course, I had to make a baby blanket! 😀
I decided to go with green tones as she didn’t know the sex of the baby and I thought green was a pretty gender neutral colour.
I used about 1800 yards of Stylecraft Yarns Special DK yarn (approximately 600 yards per colour) and US size 6 circular needles to hold the stitches. The blanket is about 36″ x 36″.
So now that the baby blanket is finished, it’s back to the Downtown Mission hats.
