I’m finally done my Ruana and I’m in love! ❤
It was a lot of work, but totally worth it.
The mornings are starting to get chilly so it will be perfect to just throw over anything and go. It will certainly keep me warm!
And our winters can be pretty mild, so I think I might be able to get a ton of use out of it.
I used about 2,400 yards of Stylecraft Special Aran in 6 different colours – about 12 balls in total – 2 of each colour.
Well, I just wanted to share this finished piece with you.
Now off to work on my other WIPs!

Hi Jeannie. Thank you. 🙂 No, I don’t find it heavy to wear. I used an Aran (or medium) weight yarn. I am thinking of writing the pattern for it, but right now I have 2 others in the works so it may not be out until the New Year!
