This big box of beautiful yarn arrived on my doorstep this morning!
Loveknitting.com sent it to me for FREE in exchange for a yarn review! Not a bad deal if I do say so myself! 😉
I selected a yarn I’ve never used before just to try something new. It’s “Hometown USA” by Lion Brand in “Vermont Green” and it’s super chunky. And guess what?? It’s ON SALE right now over at Loveknitting.com!!
I know EXACTLY what I want to make with it and will hopefully get it started this weekend!
In way of a review; a full one will be done once I start knitting with it, but what I can tell you right now, is it’s amazingly soft and the colour is very vibrant.

I love this yarn. Bought this exact shade for a sweater and went to connect my last skein to find the yarn is half the thickness the rest were and of course, I can’t find it in stock anywhere! Frustrating!!! Hope you enjoyed working with it.

Oh that’s awful! I have taken a look around for you and I also can no longer find this colour. Perhaps finish off the sweater in a complimentary colour? Just a thought! Happy knitting.
