I know I haven’t posted anything in a while, but I’m still knitting away. 😉
I’ve been working on some baby blankets for a nursing friend in Sault Ste. Marie for her hospital’s Neonatal Dept. and just have to finish knitting one and weave in the ends on another.
I’ve also been making hats I’ll be donating to our local Downtown Mission. It’s starting to get chilly at night so I want to get them them done and delivered sooner than later.
Once I have all the hats done for the Mission, it’ll be time to start on the Christmas pressies!! I already have a couple made, but still have a bunch more to do!

I’m just stopping by to share with you a baby blanket I made.
I’ll be making a few of them to send to my hometown’s hospital Neonatal department. A friend back home asked on Facebook if anyone could help and I said I would.
I love making baby blankets, but the opportunity doesn’t arise too often so I jumped at the chance to make some for the hospital.

I used Stylecraft Special DK yarn in Lemon and Meadow green. I double knit the blanket using 2 strands of yarn at one time to make it super cozy. You can purchase the yarn over at loveknitting.com.
