A sweater for a friend…

I have been working on a Brunch Anyone sweater for a friend and I have finally finished it!

I gave it a try on to make sure the neck was centered and it looks good, so now to weave those ends in!

The Brunch Anyone Sweater is a beginner friendly pattern that’s created with DK yarn and utilizes only the garter stitch.

The pattern is available in my Etsy shop and over at lovecrafts.

It’s the perfect spring time sweater so grab your copy today! 🙂

Happy knitting.

Garnet Red…

I’m done my Brunch Anyone? sweater in Garnet red! Just in time for Valentine’s Day! ❤️

I’m choosing to wear this one without the seams exposed for a more polished look, but I could always turn it inside out exposing the seams for a casual, weekend feel.

This boxy sweater is knit using DK yarn and has 3/4 lengths sleeves and a boat neckline. The pattern is very beginner friendly and comes with instructions on how to modify the size.

Grab a copy today in my Etsy shop. It’s a quick knit and you could finish it in a few days! 🙂

Happy knitting!

The Ripple Effect sweater…

I took some photos today of my Ripple Effect Sweater.

I’ve updated the pattern a bit so I wanted to take photos of the new one I made that reflects a better fit.

The updated version is now available in my Etsy shop and over at lovecrafts.com.

It’s a great sweater to transition you from Winter to Spring. 🦋

Happy knitting!

It’s off the needles…

Well this cardigan I started knitting, I don’t even know when, is FINALLY off the needles! 😅

So now all I have to do is make the pockets, sew it together, take pictures and write out the pattern! WHEW!!  Still a lot to do I guess. 🤔

Hoping to have it out for the end of October, so stay tuned!! 🤞

PATTERN RELEASE – Cool Morning Cardigan

Hey there everyone!

I have a new pattern out and it’s my first cardigan pattern.

The Cool Morning Cardigan is a heavier weight cardigan that is truly a cross between a cardigan and a light coat. It’s sure to become your favourite go to piece on those cool, chilly mornings. 😉

The Cool Morning Cardigan is made by holding 2 strands of yarn together creating a thicker knit. It has a full sleeve and falls mid calf. It features slits on the sides and a ribbed cuff.

It is 2 identical pieces that are sewn together so it’s a great pattern for a beginner knitter.

The pattern is written in one size, but notes are included should you wish to modify the size.

It’s available in both my Etsy shop and on lovecrafts.com so head on over and grab yourself a copy.

Happy knitting!

PATTERN RELEASE – Brunch Anyone?

Finally the Bruch Anyone? sweater pattern has been released!

The Brunch Anyone? sweater is a very boxy, loose fitting sweater that flatters many different shapes.

It’s a cropped sweater that features 3/4 length sleeves and a boat neckline.

Knit with US size 9 circular needles (to hold the stitches only as the piece is knit flat) using approximately 1000 yards of acrylic DK weight yarn (also known as #3 or light weight). I used Stylecraft Special DK in Khaki.

Available in my Etsy shop and over at loveknitting.com.

This pattern is beginner friendly, but if you need help, I’m always here to answer any questions you may have!

HAPPY KNITTING!
