New pattern idea…

I’ve been missing in action a bit, I know, but March has been a trying month for myself and my family.

But I’m happy to say things seem to be back on track a bit.

This is a sweater idea I started a while ago, but I’m not convinced yet that it will work out the way I want. It’s only pinned together right now. 🙄

I’m hoping it does though once I get around to sewing it.

I don’t wear many sleeveless tops because I’m self conscious of my arms, but I think the cowl neck takes away the focus from the arms a bit.

I’m working on getting my Wayward Vest pattern out soon, so stay tuned for that.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! 😊

Back Porch Shawl…

I got my Back Porch Shawl done last night and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s been years since I made my last one.

For this one I used Caron Simply Soft in Charcoal Grey, Ocean Blue and Light Country Blue.

This is one of the very first patterns I ever wrote and remains my number one seller!

You can grab a copy in my Etsy shop!

Happy Sunday. 🙂

A new Meet Me For Coffee sweater…

Coffee anyone?? ☕️  I got my “Meet Me For Coffee” sweater all sewn up and I’m loving it! Just in time for the cooler weather.

Knit in 1 piece using only the garter stitch, makes this pattern ideal for beginner knitter.

I like to wear mine with the seams exposed for a more casual look, but you have the option of also wearing it without the seams showing.

Great for casual dates with your person or, of course, coffee with friends!

The pattern is available in my Etsy shop and over at lovecrafts.

Why don’t you head over and grab yourself the pattern and start one this weekend? 😉

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 to all my Canadian friends!

PATTERN RELEASE – The Vivie Sweater

The Vivie Sweater features a loose ribbing that flatters the waist, a graceful boat neckline, and beautifully dramatic long sleeves finished with deep cuffs.

Designed with versatility in mind, this sweater is made to complement and flatter a variety of body shapes.

This sweater is constructed of 2 pieces knit separately and sewn together, makes this pattern great for knitters looking to knit their first garment.

The Vivie sweater has become one of my favourite sweaters to pair with wide legged dress pants or a flared skirt and heels.

It has such an elegance to it – perfect for dinner dates and Holiday parties.

Head over to my Etsy shop or LoveCrafts to get your pattern today!

Happy knitting.

Oops…

Well, I cast on another project! 😁

I promised myself I wouldn’t because I only had 2 projects on needles and was going to finish those first, but this gorgeous Ocean Blue yarn was just begging to be used!

I’m making myself another Meet Me For Coffee sweater. ☕️ A boxy, oversized sweater to throw on over a tank or tee for those casual coffee dates.

It’s a beginner friendly pattern and it’s available in my Etsy shop – http://www.etsy.ca/shop/PeartreeKnitting.

Check it out! You may want to make one for yourself too! 😉

Have a great weekend everyone!

Her name is Vivie…

My Vivie Sweater is now sewn up. 🙂  I still have to weave in the ends though.

I really don’t know why I procrastinate so much when it comes to sewing. 🤔 It never takes me long!

Anyways, now to write pattern out and take photos, but I’m not in a hurry.

I’m planning to publish this sweater and the Autumn Harvest Cocoon Sweater both in August, so stay tuned!

It’s going to be a hot, hot week here in Windsor so I’m planning to spend the rest of the week in the pool!! 🏊‍♀️
