Hello everyone!
The Hillside Baby Blanket pattern is now available and it’s FREE! 😀

This blanket has TONS of texture reminiscent of rolling hills. I used the super cushy Red Heart Soft Essential yarn in “Sunny Day”!

It’s a very quick and easy knit, perfect for the beginner knitter.
I hope you enjoy it!

Hi everyone!
I’ve completed another blanket! 😀 This one is for our family room.

It’s knit using 3 strands of Lion Brand “Feels Like Butta” yarn at once, so it’s BIG and heavy! My husband really likes heavier blankets. I used Charcoal and Pale Grey.
I knit it lengthwise so the stripes run up and down. I didn’t want to just have 2/3 charcoal and 1/3 pale grey, so I used a random stripe generator to create the stripe pattern in the the blanket so it’s a more gradual change of colours.

Also, I put an I-cord edge on to give the blanket a more finished look.

Well, I have 1 more blanket to complete that’s more than 1/2 done. After it’s finished, I don’t really have much yarn to make anything else. I placed a TON of yarn orders but they’re taking longer than usual to arrive these days.
I’ll have to knit more slowly and stretch out the completion of my last blanket. There’s no way I can have empty needles! 😂 I don’t know what I would do with myself!
Stay safe everyone and happy knitting.

Hello everyone!
Most of you who follow my blog know I’m a lover of making blankets 😀 and today I wanted to share a couple of my COMPLETED projects.
For this beauty below, I used 4 balls of Lion Brand Mandala Tweed yarn in “Rainbow”. I created the wonderful, soft blend of colours by knitting 2 strands of yarn together.

And for the grey and white blanket, I used 6 balls of Red Heart Soft Essentials yarn – 3 balls of white and 3 balls of grey.

The corner to corner blanket pattern is my absolute favourite for baby blankets!
And, of course, I have 2 other blankets on the go right now! 😉 The ones I’m currently making are couch blankets for my house.
I’ll share photos when they’re done.
I hope you are all staying safe and well.
Happy knitting!

Hello there!
I more often than not knit baby blankets just for the sake of knitting them. Usually they don’t have anywhere to go. I just LOVE knitting baby blankets!
Well I’m thrilled to say this blanket has found a home. ❤

I used 8 balls of Caron Simply Soft yarns. Two each of White, Sunshine, Grey Heather and Dark Country Blue. The blanket is knit using 2 strands of yarn at one time, so it’s super thick and warm.
Well, off to finish another baby blanket that has no home! 😀
Happy knitting!

Hey there everyone!
A customer shared with me HER version of the Grass Roots Cowl.
It’s actually a Grass Roots SCARF!

She said once she was done knitting it, she liked the look of it as a scarf and felt it would be more versatile for her.
Well done Milann and thank you for sharing! 😃
Do you have a finished project using one of my patterns? I would love to see them. You can email me photos at diana.poirier@yahoo.ca.
Happy knitting!
